ストーブ列車無料開放終了のお知らせ（令和7年度定期運行終了に伴う）

令和7年12月29日、津軽飯詰駅発車直後に発生した、気動車（津軽21形2両）と客車2両の連結部の分離事象により、ストーブ列車の運行を中断してまいりました。
ご乗車のお客様には多大なるご迷惑とご心配をおかけしておりますこと、深くお詫び申し上げます。

当社では、走行中に連結器が分離するという重大な事象を厳粛に受け止め、原因の確認と再発防止に向けた点検・調査を継続して実施しておりますが、定期運行期間中（令和7年12月1日〜令和8年3月31日）におけるストーブ列車の連結再開には至りませんでした。
楽しみにお越しいただいた皆様には、重ねてお詫び申し上げます。

■ ストーブ列車（令和7年度）定期運行終了に伴う無料開放の終了について
ストーブ列車は、令和8年3月31日をもちまして本年度の定期運行を終了いたします。
連結中断期間中は、津軽五所川原駅構内4番線にストーブ列車（客車）を留置し、車内を無料開放することで雰囲気をお楽しみいただけるよう対応してまいりましたが、定期運行終了に伴い、無料開放も3月31日をもって終了いたします。

■ 今後の対応について
当社では、今回の事象を真摯に受け止め、1日も早いストーブ列車（客車）の連結再開に向けて、引き続き原因究明と安全性向上の取り組みを継続してまいります。
お客様にはご迷惑をおかけしておりますが、何卒ご理解賜りますようお願い申し上げます。

Notice of the End of Free Access to the Stove Train
(Following the Conclusion of the FY2025–2026 Regular Operation)

On December 29, 2025, immediately after departing Tsugaru-Iizume Station, a separation occurred between the coupling of the diesel railcars (Tsugaru Type 21, two cars) and the two passenger cars.

As a result, we have suspended the operation of the Stove Train.

We sincerely apologize for the great inconvenience and concern this incident has caused our passengers.

We take this serious incident—where the coupler separated while the train was in motion—with the utmost gravity.

Although we have continued inspections and investigations to identify the cause and prevent recurrence, we were unable to resume coupling of the Stove Train during the regular operation period (December 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026).

We deeply apologize once again to everyone who had been looking forward to riding the Stove Train.

■ End of Free Access to the Stove Train (FY2025–2026) Following the Conclusion of Regular Operation

The Stove Train will conclude its regular operation for this fiscal year on March 31, 2026.

During the suspension of coupling, we placed the Stove Train passenger cars on Track 4 at Tsugaru-Goshogawara Station and opened them to the public free of charge so visitors could still enjoy the atmosphere.

However, with the end of the regular operation period, this free access will also end on March 31.

■ Future Actions

We take this incident very seriously and will continue our efforts to identify the cause and further enhance safety, with the goal of resuming coupling of the Stove Train passenger cars as soon as possible.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this situation has caused and kindly ask for your understanding.

「津軽鉄道の運行状況」及び「ストーブ列車の取り扱い」につきまして

2026年3月18日 / お知らせ

２０２５年１２月２９日１４時５２分頃、先頭の気動車（津軽２１形２両）と客車２両との連結部が分離し、全車両に非常ブレーキが作動して緊急停車する事象が発生いたしました。この事象を受け、線路の安全確認を実施するため、客車（ストーブ列車）の連結を中止し、当面の間、客車（ストーブ列車）の運行を見合わせしております。
